Mr. Denyse

HA! Too funny, but "miracle" might not have the most appropriate of connotations. What's the word for "Biggest, most mind boggling anti-miracle in the history of the written word"?

I can't seem to find it in my thesaurus.

Hey Thanks! It's actually come quite far from the version you read at my blog. I'm just passed a huge hunk of writer's block, so things are just starting to move along well again.

I think she'd just blow a gasket and pass out if I handed that in as an assignment. Too much for her to handle, I'd imagine. It'd be funny to see her face as she read it though!

hey Janie... doesn't (or didn't) DO'L teach writing classes at the Upper Saskatchewan Institute of Air Conditioner Repair or something?

Could you imagine the grade you'd get from her if you handed in The Lilith Quotient? She probably wouldn't fail you because of the content; she'd make up some excuse that you didn't, like, hip up the language, yo.

FWIW, I enjoyed it.

I'm in the midst of writing a novel myself. It's kind of dystopic Science Fiction, a "What if WAD were Pope of the Galaxy?"

It's taken from a series of posts from about a year ago at UDoJ, called "The Lilith Quotient". Look for it sometime soon (I hope).

P.S. Buy my book.

It's kind of inspirational, too. I mean, Denyse O'Leary proves that anyone, no matter how badly they write, can publish a book and have it ranked #882,197 on Amazon.

It's given me hope that one day my McNeil-Lehrer News Hour fan fiction will get published.

Hey now! We are separate people, and we each run our own blogs.

We just happen to cranially co-habitate.

What's really interesting about Densly ORLY is that she inexplicably gets paid to write. Somebody out there who actually has an even more tenuous grasp of the English language is in charge of hiring writers. I find that fascinating. Disturbing, but fascinating.
