It’s been a busy week for Tardminers. The general consensus is that this was the best week ever for Uncommon Descent-related hilarity. That said, it’s time to for some much needed rest & relaxation. With that in mind, here’s a clip of Chet Atkins playing an instrumental version of the old Russian folk song, “Dark Eyes” (aka “Ochi Chyornye”)

Took a while to load for me - but plays great when it comes.

I think the bored chick is Marty Robbins’ wife. She shows up in a lot of these clips. In the video archive, there’s a Ray Price clip where she’s sitting next to him, looking bored.
I also like the “That was a scratch, not a pick” moment by the gal in the polka dot shirt on the right at 1:08.

Have you seen the Wildwood Flower clip? There’s a guy sitting in the background that does an “I just pwned” look on his face at some point. Chet’s picking tends to have that effect…
