Thanks to the alt.binaries.sounds.mp3 hierarchy, I have a lot of stuff that I wouldn't otherwise buy. As much as I praise old-school punk and Hillbilly music, I've got a real soft spot for Bubblegum music.

It pains me to have to make this confession, but my love of Bubblegum runs so deep that I did purchase a Brady Bunch CD. And I listen to it. For non-ironic purposes, even.

I know, I know... there goes my street cred. The sucker MCs are now gonna think I'm soft...

I'm afraid that the conclusion that this death was accidental, and particularly the conclusion that it was not a bizarre gardening accident, are quite premature.

A man's dead. A man has been killed. That means this man had a killer. Glass door indeed. Who is really the killer? That's for you to find out.

See, I’m afraid that’s beyond the scope of this investigation. After all, it’s obvious these cuts to the neck are designed in a manner that would attract murders, so it could have been anything or anyone. There might even be those who say that aliens murdered your drummer, but that’s mere speculation. Judging from the way the evidence at the scene gives absolutely no compelling reasons to believe that any crime was committed, I’m guessing this crime was someone reasonably intelligent, but that’s the most I can say. We may never know who did it.

That's how the gritty no-nonsense detective and book reviewer from Anywhere, North Texas woulda done it.
